I did not make this, a friend of mine did. It turned out quite tasty. Think vegetable soup, without the soup.

I'm always impressed by her ability to throw stuff like this together, without having ever made it before, and have it come out great. Had I attempted the same thing it would have been a bland mash with far too many random spices. It must come from the experience of trying and occasionally failing, before learning generally how different ingredients respond to each other in different ratios.

I just tend to give up after a single failure and go with the frozen pizza option.

I asked the same thing. The answer is parsnip. And they are very good. Kinda like a cross between a potato and a carrot. I will be roasting and eating more of them in the future.
