It may appear that this book shelf is merely a combination of laziness and frugality.
But the more savvy among us can detect the sophisticated subtext.
It's a tower of aspirational fiction reaching for the stars, built on a solid foundation of engineering knowledge and applied mathematics.
It's a sequence of events, sandwiching four ingredient dinners between reading about Iranian nuclear weapons concealment and crazy German holistic medicine based on the use of snake venom (some of my photos are in that one).
It's a progression of priorities, starting with the fundamentals of dynamic systems, moving through the practical needs of software programming, to the barely visible feminine mystique, which helps me understand "womyn".
It's a bookcase made from the ashes of a previous bookcase, and $1200 worth of engineering textbooks that I barely opened.

well put, glad to see you've progressed from the basic engineering mind to the more advanced social sciences and arts.
