Photos of the Week - Week 10
Monday, September 15, 2008 at 8:05AM
I've been slacking on the photo-front for awhile now, and the posting-front as well for that matter, gotta pull it together.
It's not for a lack of activities or lack of photos of said activities. It's just my own lack of time combined with not feeling particularly creative lately. But on to the photos.
Last weekend Emma and I went to Montreal for the weekend. This meant lots of eating.

Some napping.

by static416
And drinking of course.

by static416
Some high points were seeing this ironically poorly built sign advertising pot smoking products.

by static416
And also having these gigantic mixed drinks in Mason jars.

Though I can't tie this into my narrative, this music store had really cool lights.

We returned home on Sunday afternoon, chaperoned by Kevin and his boyfriend who were forced to endure Emma and I cooing at one another like a couple of retards at a retard convention.
Here is Kevin demonstrating how to properly exit the train in the event of a fire. What's funny is that that isn't even really a joke. He was appointed by the staff as "guy in charge of fire escape safety".

The high point of this weekend (not Montreal weekend), came in the form of ice cream cake.

by static416
Which was purchased to celebrate the birthdays of these people.

by static416
They look civil now, but the end of the evening saw the four of them crouched around the melting remains of aforementioned ice cream cake, furiously spooning it into their mouthes before it completely turned to liquid.
Cries of "Ice cream headache!" and "I'm so full I'm going to puke!" could be heard, but didn't seem to slow them down.
Torren was mystified by this group feeding behaviour.

My friends and I are so pathetic.
It wasn't "Ice cream headache", it was "brain freeze!!" that I was yelling about.
I like that I look like a mentally challenged 'Railway Safety Coordinator.'
Ya, I just gave myself that flashy title. Jealous? y/n?
Very jealous. I wish I was a Railway Safety Coordinator.
Eric, where you at?
I know! I'm being lazy. I'll try to come up with something to write tonight.
I've just been putting it off cause I'm not feeling terribly motivated.
