Photos of the Week - Week 8

I didn't do much other than work and read this week. My eldest sister, her husband, and their two kids came down on Thursday for dinner, but I left my camera at home, so no pictures of that.

Kitty is continuing to do what kitties do and be a pain in the ass. She bit me or scratched me or something and as a consequence my left hand has been swollen for the last three days. Also, she constantly tries to get on top of whatever it is I'm doing. She bites my hand when I'm playing video games and sits on my book when I'm trying to read.

The funny part is that it's even difficult to get a picture of her. As soon as you pick up the camera she attacks it. For every good photo I have about 6 photos where the frame is filled with a super close-up of blurry kitty-face.

On Saturday I went to Markham with Emma, John, and Linda for some All-You-Can-Eat Sushi.

Unfortunately I didn't think to charge the battery in the camera ahead of time and it died after a couple shots. Not only did this leave me with only this semi-blurry photo for the sushi outing, but it also prevented me from taking any shots of the party Emma and I went to later.

My photography tip for the week would be; make sure you have a functional camera if you plan on taking pictures. That's the sort of expert advice you can only get from me.

Sunday was lazy. We went to the mall.

Emma bought underwear and sandles. This is her enjoying herself on the escalator.

Just look at the child-like wonder in her eyes.

I followed her around and drank my raspberry drink. It was tasty.

This week I learned:

- That you need to bring your camera along if you intend on taking pictures
- That your camera requires charged batteries in order to operate
- That raspberry has a 'p' in it. Did not know that until just now. You are watching me learn. My spelling is horrible.
